All the time in the world?

Since preschool, all the way to my senior graduation, i had plenty of people ask me “What do you wanna be when you grow up?” i’ve thought about this question my whole life. what career am i willing to persue? What job do i want for the rest of my life?

Sitting here two years after graduation, i still don’t know what i want to do in life. the pressure the world gives you after graduation is intense. Society thinks that by 21 you should have you whole life planned out. I say it’s all bullshit!

how can one possibly have their whole life mapped out at 21? one can’t even decide what alcoholic beverage for the party this weekend? What outfit to wear for the hot date tonight. what junk food snack to take to your upset girlfriend because you forgot your anniversary.

i am not saying that it’s impossible to have everything figured out at a young age. if that’s you then congrats, you’re doing something right. but for the rest of us, I say it’s never to late and go try new things. learn new skills, languages, meet new people and don’t be afraid to fall in love. be young, wild, and free in a responsible way of course. don’t forget to have fun, and stop to smell the flowers. believe me, you do not want to wake up one day as a 60 year old person and realize you forgot to live life for yourself.  Life is short, having all the time in the world to me, is living one day at a time. Focus on what’s going on today, worry about tomorrow when it comes and forget the past.  Just be happy, make the world a better place, be kind to people and always give good energy.
